Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) is a material with the look and feel of rubber making it highly suitable for use in retractable cords. It exhibits flexibility, toughness, with good high and low temperature operating characteristics, excellent resistance to water, alcohol and acids, and especially, outstanding electrical properties. They are well suited for usage in test instruments, medical equipment, barcode readers, hand-held computers, game machines, hand-held controllers, photographic equipment, industrial weighing equipment and other similar applications.
